CORTLAND - Mrs. Jamie A. Wilson, 60, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, Nov. 29, 2012, at University Hospital in Cleveland.
Jamie was born May 12, 1952, in Port Chester, N.Y., the daughter of James A. and Beatrice C. Safko Pierro.
She was a 1971 alumna of Carl Hadden High School in Phoenix. She went on to marry her beloved husband, Hyland P. Wilson, on May 19, 1989, with whom she shared more than 23 years of marriage and their three children.

Mrs. Wilson had worked in security for Alcoa Aluminum for more than 12 years and had more recently been employed for Dillen Products in Middlefield as a utility clerk.
In her leisure time, she enjoyed gardening, especially her roses and hibiscus, and crocheting, but above all, Jamie loved spending time with her beloved grandchildren.
She leaves behind her husband, Hyland of Cortland; her children, Wayne Wilson of Industry, Pa., Kelly (companion Nick) Wilson of Freedom, Pa., and Melissa (Joe) Button of Warren; her brother, James Pierro II of Magnum, Okla.; her sister, Susan Pierro of Warren; 10 grandchildren, Billy, Brooke, Sammie, Christopher (who lived with Jamie and Hyland), Nikki, Joey, Autumn, Lois, Kylie and Edward; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents.

Interment will take place with her parents in Arizona.
