GIRARD - Carmel Christina Walker, 86, died early Friday morning, Nov. 30, 2012.
She was born Feb. 9, 1926, in Girard, the daughter of Ralph and Rose Fungi Comichisto.
Carmel most recently worked at Costello Candy and was a member of St. Rose Church.
Survivors include a son, Bart Walker Jr. of Youngstown; a daughter, Candy Winston of Cortland; a brother, Joseph Comichisto of Hollywood, Fla.; a sister, Barbara Gallagher of Girard; and two grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bartholomew ''Bert'' Walker, and a grandson.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at the McClurkin Funeral Home in Girard. There will be a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Rose Catholic Church, preceded by prayers at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home.
