FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. - Charles F. "Bunny" Robertson, 71, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, Nov. 26, 2012, after a two-year battle with ALS (Lou Gerhig's disease).
He was born March 25, 1941, in Port of Spain, Trinidad, the son of the late Leo and Marion Robertson.
In 1967, he married Cicely Pelham-Brathwaite, and they had two sons.

He was a supervisor for many years at GM Lordstown plant, from where he retired. He was a member of First Assembly of God on Parkman Road.
He enjoyed playing tennis, watching NASCAR and being with family.
Survivors include his wife; his sons, Nigel (Tricia) Robertson of Greenville, S.C., and Nathaniel (Kelly Gates) Robertson of Warren; two sisters, Gloria Duren and Jean King; a brother, Ancil Robertson of Warren; and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Eleanor Parris-Roark.
Services were held Thursday in Fort Lauderdale. His family will be holding a Celebration of Life service March 23 in Warren, allowing time for family from overseas to make arrangements.
His son Nigel helped create an ALS clinic in his dad's honor. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the clinic in his father's name, GHS Neurological Institute for ALS, Office of Institutional Advancement, 300 E.
