James D. Noble 1935-2012

MIDDLEFIELD - James D. Noble, 77, died Friday, Nov. 30, 2012, at UH Geauga Medical Center in Claridon.

Jim was born Sept. 7, 1935, in Warren, the son of Frank and Opal Young Noble.

He served in the U.S. Army during the 1950s and then worked at the Johnson Rubber Co. in Middlefield doing multiple jobs until his retirement.

Jim was married to Claudia "Cookie" Miller, who survives.

A lifelong resident of the Warren and Middlefield areas, Jim enjoyed fishing, landscaping and vacationing in West Virginia and Pennsylvania. He also enjoyed anything Native American Indian and eagles. Jim loved spending time with his friends and family.

Survivors include a son, Tyler (Jann) Noble of Middlefield, and two granddaughters, Allie and Stephanie Noble.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Michael, in 2010; and a brother, Tim.

A gathering of friends and family will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Russell Funeral Service, 15670 W. High St. (state Route 87), Middlefield, with a service to follow at 7 p.m.
