Rebecca W. Fiddler 1947-2012

VIENNA - Rebecca W. Fiddler, 65, of Vienna, passed away peacefully on Thursday, Nov. 29, 2012, at her home.

Becky was born June 21, 1947, in Canton, the daughter of Richard and Evelyn Jones Wilson.

She was an active member of the Howland Community Church.

While Becky was employed outside of the home for several years at various positions, her most satisfying job was as a homemaker, loving wife, mother and grandmother.

As a third-generation seamstress, Becky was blessed with extraordinary talent in the art of needlework to include embroidery, quilting and dressmaking. Becky was a past member of the Embroiderer's Guild of America and the Holborn Herb Growers Guild and attended Martha Pullen of Art Fashion.

Becky believed in giving back to the community by volunteering at the Menagerie Thrift Store and the Free Fellowship Meal at the church.

Growing up, Becky took voice lessons and was a member of the All Ohio Select Choir 1965, Wilmington College, Wilmington.

Becky is survived by her loving husband of 46 years, Jerry; one daughter, Alisha (Mark) Trammell of Cleveland Heights; four grandchildren, Lillian, Rowan, Yorrick and Berkeley Trammell; two sisters, Rochelle (John) Caddey of Berea and Susan (Michael) Lancaster of Magnolia.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, James Wilson.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Lane Family Funeral Home, Roberts-Clark Chapel, 180 Garfield Drive, Warren, OH 44483. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Howland Community Church, 730 Howland Wilson Road, Warren, OH 44484.

Interment will be private at a later date.

Memorials may be made in her name to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, P.O. Box 1893, Memphis, TN 38101, or the Free Fellowship Meal Program / Howland Community Church, 730 Howland Wilson Road, Warren, OH 44484.
