CORTLAND - Mildred L. Gerke, 90, died Monday, Nov. 26, 2012, at Cortland Health Care Center.
She was born June 4, 1922, in Knoxville, Tenn., the daughter of William and May Hennell Harkleroad.
Mildred had worked for Cherry's Top of Mall at Eastwood Mall in Niles. She attended Howland Glen Baptist Church.

Survivors include her children, Paul of Girard and Charles of Cortland; a sister, Elsie Sheppard of Girard; five grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles E. Gerke; a daughter, Marsha LeBlanc; a sister and two brothers.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Girard City Cemetery Chapel.
Arrangements were handled by Blackstone Funeral Home.
