Daniel J. Lynch Jr. 1922-2012

WARREN - Daniel J. Lynch Jr., 90, passed away at 7:34 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2012, at his home.

He was born Sept. 20, 1922, in Youngstown, the son of the late Daniel J. Sr. and Isabelle Kritter Lynch.

Dan was a machinist in the tool and die department at Packard Electric for 20 years, retiring in 1986.

Mr. Lynch was an honorably discharged U.S. Army/Air Force veteran of World War II.

Daniel was a member of Holy Cross Polish National Catholic Church in Warren. He enjoyed golfing and bowling. He was a very witty person and loved by all who knew him.

Survivors include his wife, Minnie Vanscoy Warzala Lynch, whom he married June 14, 2003; one son, Martin Lynch of Fort Wayne, Ind.; his stepchildren, Timothy (Kathy) Warzala of Bristolville, Richard Warzala of Warren and Carol (Robbie) Robison of Cortland; several nieces and nephews; several stepgrandchildren and stepgreat-grandchildren; and one brother, Patrick (Diana) Lynch of Willoughby.

Other than his parents, Daniel was preceded in death by his first wife, Madeline Kemp Lynch; two sisters, Dorothy Dissler and Florence Orwell; and one stepson, Frank Dennis Warzala.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the Carl W. Hall Funeral Home, where the Very Rev. John A. Rencewicz will celebrate Daniel's life.

Family and friends may visit one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Mr. Lynch will be laid to rest in Calvary Cemetery in Youngstown.
