Norma J. Moody 1927-2012

CHAMPION - Norma J. Moody, 86, passed in peace Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2012, at Trumbull Memorial Hospital in Warren surrounded by her loving family.

She was born Jan. 14, 1927, in Champion, the daughter of John and Clara Belle Wyndham, and she was a lifelong resident of Trumbull County.

Norma was a member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church of Cortland and the Eastern Star Opal Lodge and found great pleasure in clowning with her husband as a member of the Ali Baba Grotto organization, participating in many benefits for disabled children in the area.

She leaves a very large family in her six children, Judith A. Kereszturi of Ruskin, Fla., Janet (Richard) Gibson of Cortland, Robert (Kathy) Moody of Warren, Benjamin (Jan) Moody of Cortland, Kent Moody of Warren and Jeff (Debbie) Moody of Howland. She is the proud Nana to 18 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

She is reunited with her late husband, Benjamin H. Moody Jr., and was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Mary Wyndham and Louise Read; a brother, Charles Robert Wyndham; and a son-in-law, Steve Keresturi.

Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Friday at Crown Hill Memorial Chapel, 3966 Warren Sharon Road, Vienna, where a service by the Eastern Star will precede at 2:45 p.m. The family will receive friends one hour before services. Burial will be at Crown Hill following the service.

The family would like to thank all at Lake Vista Care facilities and the many fine employees at Trumbull Memorial.

The family asks any material contributions be made to The Mission Endowment Fund at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 490 N. High St., Cortland, OH 44410.
