The American Holiday Arts & Crafts Show and Sale returns to the Butler Institute of American Art for the 42nd year.
The event features fine art and original crafts from 100 vendors from several states. Painting, photography, jewelry, paper, ceramics, fragrances, wood, leather, fiber and decorative arts will be available as well as food and horticulture.
Local artists include: Marilyn Fredenburg of Fowler, original handbag designs; Carl and Ruth Jennings of Brookfield, Faberge-style egg creations; Berni K. Koczwara of Youngstown, prints and greeting cards based upon her original paintings; C. Scott Lanz of Youngstown, original photographic prints; David Misalko of Boardman, original watercolors, limited edition lithographs and giclee prints; Bob Barko of Youngstown, fine art graphic works and wearable art from his Steel Town Studio; Gerry Hefferon of Struthers, hand-turned ink pens and desk sets; and Debbie Dory of North Lima, live decorated boxwood trees, centerpieces and decorations.
Free art and antique appraisals by Byce Auction and the Bonfoey Company will be available from noon to 3 p.m. on Sunday with a limit of two hand-carried items per person. Refreshments will be available at the Butler's Collections Cafe.
The show runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday at the Butler, 524 Wick Ave., Youngstown. Admission is $5 with children ages 11 and younger admitted free.
Free parking will be available in the Youngstown State University parking decks during the event.
