GIRARD - Andrew "Andy" Kurinowski, 86, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2012, at St. Elizabeth Health Center.
Andy was born Sept. 29, 1926, in Pittsburgh, the son of the late Wasyl and Eudokia Mikula Kurinowski.
Andy was a graduate of McDonald High School, a proud Navy veteran of World War II, and retired from U.S. Steel McDonald Works. He was a member of Holy Trinity Ukranian Catholic Church in Youngstown.

Andy loved polka music and dancing.
He is survived by his nieces, Andrea Hospodor of Niles, Arlene Metz of Hilliard and Sophie Barcheski of Moon Township, Pa.; a nephew, Frank Pellino of Niles; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
He was preceded in death by his sisters, Mary Yanis, Ann Pellino and Irene Prementine; and brothers, Earl, Bill and Peter Kurinowski.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Calvary Cemetery Chapel in Youngstown.
Arrangements were handled by Blackstone Funeral Home.
