BRUSSELS, Belgium - Lori Bacher Rittelmeyer, 51, formerly of Liberty, passed away Monday, Nov. 5, 2012, of natural causes from diabetic-related trauma.
She was born Sept. 25, 1961, in Youngstown, the daughter of Kenneth E. and Sally L. Bacher.
Lori was a 1979 graduate of Liberty High School and a 1984 graduate of Chatham College in Pittsburgh.

Lori began her career with the firm of Latham and Watkins in Washington, D.C., during September 2000. She was most recently working as supervisor of enterprise applications and training for all European and Middle Eastern offices.
In September 2012, Lori had accepted the office of global technology training supervisor based in the firm's Los Angeles location. She was in the process of repatriating herself to the U.S. after residing in Brussels, Belgium, for the past 10 years.
She is survived by her mother, Sally L. Bacher of Mineral Ridge; her spouse, Paul Rittelmeyer of Charlottesville, Va.; her stepmother, Shirley Bacher of Mineral Ridge; and her sister, Kim (Larry) Hall of Lake Milton.
Her father, Kenneth E. Bacher, preceded her in death in 2006.
A small graveside service will be held for her immediate family and friends Saturday in Crown Hill Memorial Cemetery in Vienna.
Arrangements were handled by Selby Funeral Home, Vienna.
Lori was admired and respected by her family and friends, who were oftentimes amazed by her global travels. ''She was miles away, but lived in our hearts, which is where she will always remain.''
