Group meeting

WARREN - Families Helping Families will meet at 6 p.m. today at McDonald's, 162 North Road, to plan for its annual Christmas dinner.

The group will hold a free Christmas dinner in December, for which it is accepting food and monetary donations. For more information, or to volunteer, call 330-372-7388.

Tribune editors are

headed to Howland

HOWLAND - The next stop in a yearlong series of gatherings to allow the public to meet the editors of the Tribune Chronicle is scheduled for 6 p.m. Dec. 19 at the Howland Township Administration Building.

Readers from all communities are invited to attend and ask questions and make suggestions.

Scheduled to attend are Tribune Chronicle publisher Charles Jarvis; general manager Len Blose; editor Frank Robinson; managing editor Guy Coviello; sports editor Dana Sulonen; features editor Mary Beth Wyko; humor columnist and assistant metro editor Burton Cole; entertainment writer Andy Gray; Browns beat reporter Mike McLain; chief photographer R. Michael Semple; and community news reporter Bob Coupland.

Light refreshments will be served. The monthly sessions are being coordinated as part of the Tribune Chronicle's bicentennial celebration.
