WARREN - Olive B. Pykare, 87, passed away peacefully at 4 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 18, 2012, at her residence with her family at her bedside following an extended illness.
She was born May 9, 1925, in Olive Hill, Ky., the daughter of Sollie and Zilpha Cline Brown. She moved to the Niles area in 1940.
Olive retired in 1978 after working 32 years as a molds and press operator at Packard Electric Co.

Pykare
She was a active member of the Apostolic Pentecostal Church and the Ladies' Auxiliary. She enjoyed traveling, yard work and flowers.
Olive is survived by a son, Dennis (Connie) Pykare of Warren; eight grandchildren, Wendy Pykare, R.J. Pykare, Barbara Dawn (Dave) Jungbauer, Eve (Dave) Famigliette, Larry Pykare, Brian Pykare, Nichole Jackson and Michelle Cella; three great-grandchildren, Brandon Pykare, Cameron Pykare and Carissa Ayers; and four sisters, Fronia Boggs, Glessie Clemens, Ora Porter and Ezell (George) Johnson, all of Niles.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene F. Pykare, whom she married Sept. 21, 1950, and who died on April 25, 1997; son, James Pykare; two sisters, Dorothy Cline and Vesta Sparks; and two brothers, Watt Brown and Edward Brown.
Calling hours will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Holeton-Yuhasz Funeral Home.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Apostolic Pentecostal Church, where family and friends may also call one hour prior to the service. Brother Douglas Brown will officiate.
Burial will be at Kerr Cemetery.
