WARREN - Nellie J. Morgan, 95, passed away Saturday evening, Nov. 17, 2012, at Shepherd of the Valley in Howland.
She was born Sept. 19, 1917, in Warren, the daughter of the late Glenn and Pearl Stitle Moore. Nellie had been a lifetime Warren area resident.
Nellie and her late husband, Gabe Morgan, owned and operated Morgan's Market grocery stores in Champion and Southington for many years. She retired after 17 years service from the Servamation Vending Company in Warren. She was a member of Champion Christian Church.

She enjoyed sewing and cooking and loved spending time with her granddaughters and great-grandsons.
Her husband, whom she married Dec. 14, 1941, preceded her in death in 1961.
Nellie is survived by her son, Jerry L. (Cory) Morgan of Howland; three granddaughters, Amy (Russ) Ciballi of Columbus, Sherri (O.J.) Hatfield of Howland and Jackie Beard of Columbus; and five great-grandsons, Tristan, Kyle, Colton and Reed Ciballi and Connor Hatfield.
Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Gina Marie Morgan; two sisters, Mary Profera and Margaret Martin; two brothers, William and Delbert Moore; two stepdaughters, Betty Mines and Dorothy Cellars; and a stepson, Kenneth Morgan.
The funeral service will be held at 7 p.m. Friday at Lane Family Funeral Homes, Roberts-Clark Chapel, in Warren, where the family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m.
Following cremation, burial will be at Champion Township Cemetery.
