WARREN - Harold LeRoy Hawley, 79, died Sunday, Nov. 18, 2012, at St. Joseph Health Center.
He was born March 22, 1933, in Novelty, the son of Arthur and Hattie Bennett Hawley.
Harold was a veteran of the United States Air Force, having served during the Korean War. He retired from Wean United, as machine shop foreman, after 35 years of service.

He was a member of Old Erie Lodge 3 F&AM, and enjoyed flying, crossword puzzles and spending time with his children.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Griffin Hawley of Warren, whom he married Feb. 21, 1965; six daughters, Patty (Millard) Childers of Port Charlotte, Fla., Teresa (David) Luther of Johnstown, Pamela (Mark) Bush of Champion, Trudy Klingensmith of Champion, Rosemary Hawley of Bellefontaine and Tammy Morgan of Warren; 10 grandchildren, one of which, Maurice Morgan, he raised;12 great-grandchildren; his mother, Hattie Hawley of Cuyahoga Falls; a brother, Thomas (Meg) Hawley of Jacksonville, Fla.; and three sisters, Juanita Taylor of Folkston, Ga., Della June (Wayne) Strong of Shreve and Virginia Rae (Larry) Cross of Cuyahoga Falls.
He was preceded in death by his father and three brothers, Arthur, Melvin and James.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Carl W. Hall Funeral Home, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, and there will be an Old Erie Lodge 3 Masonic service at 5:45 p.m. Friday.
Interment will be at Pineview Memorial Park.
The family requests that material contributions be made to Old Erie Lodge 3 F&AM, 3510 W. Market St., Leavittsburg, OH 44430, in his memory.
