NEWTON FALLS - John James Napolitano, 70, entered into eternal rest Sunday, Nov. 18, 2012, at Trumbull Memorial Hospital.
He was born Aug. 2, 1942, in Troy, N.Y., the son of Michael and Rose Susco Napolitano, had lived in Newton Falls since 1967 and formerly was of Niles.
John married the former Frances Mae Channel on Sept. 23, 1967, and they recently celebrated 45 years of marriage.

He retired in 2000 after 30 years as an auto worker at General Motors in Lordstown. He enjoyed woodcarving, traveling and collecting books.
Loving memories of John will be carried on by his family, his wife, Frances Napolitano of Newton Falls; a daughter, Dawn Hurst of Deerfield; a son, Seth Napolitano of Warren; a brother, Michael (Karen) Napolitano of Cohoes, N.Y.; grandchildren, Toni Napolitano, Samantha Hurst and Aaron Hurst; and great-grandchildren, Skyler Bradley and Aaliya Brewer.
John was preceded in death by his parents and his grandson, Bryan Andrew Hurst.
Calling hours will be held from 5 to 6 p.m. Wednesday at James Funeral Home, where funeral services will immediately follow at 6 p.m. The Rev. Calvin Mason will officiate.
