TULSA, Okla. - Gregory B. Hines Jr., 26, 2327 S. Maybelle Ave., died Thursday, Nov. 8, 2012, peacefully in his sleep.
Mr. Hines was born April 20, 1986, in Warren, the son of Tayna L. Dean and Gregory B. Hines Sr.
Gregory attended Warren G. Harding High School, but was a 2005 graduate of Daniel Webster High School in Tulsa, Okla.

He was a 2012 graduate from Tulsa Welding School, where he earned his certificate to become a certified welder, and he worked on the Alaskan pipeline.
He was a sports fan of the San Francisco 49ers, for whom his godbrother, Mario Manningham, plays.
Survivors include his mother of Tulsa; his fiancee, Vanessa M. Price of Tulsa; siblings T'Shana Latrice Hines of Columbus, Ta'Conna LaRae Dean of Kileen, Texas, Simone D. Jackson of Warren, Ashley Jenkins of Columbus, Ka'Mela M. Bender of Fort Riley, Kan., Bryan C. Fambro and Brandon C. Fambro of Cleveland, and Antonio L. Salter of Warren; a grandmother, Bernice W. Hines of Warren; a godbrother, Mario Manningham; and a host of family and friends.
Preceding him in death were his father; a grandmother, Mary E. Dukes; a grandfather, Robert Lee Hines; and best friends, Deyon'ta Dunn and Joshua Landis.
Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Second Baptist Church in Warren, where calling hours will be at 10 a.m.
