STRONGSVILLE - Dorothy C. Hoover, 100, died Wednesday evening, Nov. 14, 2012, in Kemper House in Strongsville.
She was born Oct, 14, 1912, in Youngstown, the daughter of William and Jessie Collins Clark.
She served as president of Canfield Manufacturing Co. after her husband, Edwin E. Hoover, died in 1973.

She belonged to Trinity United Methodist Church in Youngstown.
Survivors include three daughters, Gail E. Hoover of Cleveland, Laurelle H. Palmer of Chapel Hill, N.C., and Karen L. Hoover, M.D., of New York City; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.
Memorial services will be at noon Monday at the Thompson Funeral Home, where friends may call two hours prior to services.
