GIRARD - Gene J. DePillo, 81, died Friday morning, Nov. 16, 2012, at Northside Medical Center.
He was born June 25, 1931, in Youngstown, the son of Paul and Angeline Galterio DiPillo.
Gene served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.

He retired from General Motors Corp. in Lordstown, and was a member of St. Rose Church.
Survivors include his wife, the former Angie Ragozzine; a son, Dallas DePillo of Girard; and a brother, Guy DiPillo of Boardman.
Calling hours will be from 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday at McClurkin Funeral Home in Girard. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Rose Church. There will be a 10:30 a.m. prayer service Monday at the funeral home prior to the church Mass.
