YOUNGSTOWN - Karen Yvonne "Kay" Y. Allison, 54, died Sunday, Nov. 11, 2012, at her residence.
She was born April 21, 1958, in Youngstown, the daughter of Otis Herron and Wanda Bufford.
She was an independent provider for the State of Ohio and HHA for Comfort Keepers. She was a member of Gospel Temple Baptist Church in Campbell.

Survivors include her husband, Herbert ''Biff" Allison; her grandmother, Esther Smith; a stepmother, Bessie L. Herron; her children, Latausha Teague, William Teague, Autumn Judge and Emmett "Frank" Conner Sr., all of Youngstown; her stepchildren, Herbert and Chezare Allison, both of Youngstown, Alysia Allison-Jordan of Columbus, Alexis, Amber, Isaiah and Austin Allison, all of Youngstown; her sisters, Gwendolyn Smith, Alice Jones, Patricia Daye, Diane Campbell and Deborah Herron, all of Youngstown; her brothers, Rodney Perry, Kevin Herron, Mannie Collins, Salis Collins, Ronald Collins and Michael Collins, all of Youngstown; 19 grandchildren and one great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister.
A homegoing celebration will be held at noon Monday at Gospel Temple Baptist Church. Friends may call one hour prior to services at the church.
Arrangements were handled by J.E. Washington Funeral Home.
