COLUMBUS - Elaine S. Buggs-Iheama, 63, passed away Friday, Nov. 2, 2012, in Columbus.
She was born Oct. 27, 1949, in Youngstown, the daughter of Edward Sr. and Rosetta Gilliam Buggs.
In her youth, Elaine was a member of the Immaculate Conception. She was the co-owner and operator of South Gate Group Homes.

Survivors include her daughter, Rosetta "Gina" Buggs; her granddaughter, Elainna Coleman, with whom she made her home; brother, Edward of Youngstown; and three sisters, Geraldine Douglass and Rosalee McRae, both of Tomball, Texas, and Leatha Bell of Youngstown.
Elaine was preceded in death by a brother.
A memorial service celebrating her life will be held at 5 p.m. Friday at Saint Andrews A.M.E. Church in Youngstown.
Local arrangements were handled by J.E. Washington Funeral Home.
