YOUNGSTOWN - Robert Paul "PaPa" Gerlach, 94, died Nov. 11, 2012.
Bob was born Dec. 8, 1917, in New Philadelphia, to Paul C. and Lucille Grimm Gerlach.
He was an electrician for the IBEW Local Union No. 64 of Youngstown and served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.

Survivors include his wife, Ethel R. Forsyth; a daughter, Diane G. Siefert of Struthers; three grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
Bob was preceded in death by a sister and brother.
Funeral services will be held at noon Thursday at Thompson Funeral Home in Boardman. Family and friends may call from 11 a.m. to noon at the funeral home.
