LORDSTOWN - Mark T. DeCapite, 51, died at 4:25 p.m. Monday, Nov. 12, 2012, at Trumbull Memorial Hospital following complications due to diabetes.
He was born Sept. 29, 1958, in Warren, the son of Archie G. and Martha DeCapite.
Mark was a 1976 graduate of Warren G. Harding High School and was also a graduate of the Allentown, Pa., trade school as a diesel mechanic. He previously worked out of Local No. 935 and was the co-owner of Custom Waterproofing & Glass Block for 10 years. Mark was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish (St. Cyril & Methodius Church). He enjoyed fishing, boating, water skiing, camping, traveling, pottery, oil and water color painting and was an avid sports fan.

Survivors include his mother; a sister, Lori A. DeCapite of New York; his beloved dog, Spanky; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father and two sisters, Cheryl Nance and Shelley Ann Shultz.
Friends and family may call from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday and from 10:30 to 11 a.m. Friday at the Peter Rossi & Son Memorial Chapel in Warren, where a funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday with the Rev. James P. Walker officiating. Burial will be in All Souls Cemetery in Cortland.
