ANDOVER - Richard Ware Wakeman, 86, died Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2012, at his home.
He was born Sept. 18, 1926, in Ashtabula, the son of Bernice and Norris Wakeman.
Mr. Wakeman served in the U.S. Army during World War II.

He painted houses and also built and refurbished homes.
Survivors include his son, Keith A. of Andover, and a grandson, Ryan Wakeman of Monroe, Ga.
He was preceded in death by a son, Brian W., and a sister and brother.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements were handled by Baumgardner Funeral & Cremation Services in Andover.
