Marjorie E. Houk 1910-2012

YOUNGSTOWN - Marjorie E. Houk, 102, died Friday morning, Nov. 9, 2012, in Park Vista Retirement Community.

She was born Oct. 26, 1910, in Pearl River, N.Y., the daughter of Charles and Gertrude Spells Peake.

She was a member of Good Hope Lutheran Church and worked for General Fireproofing in Youngstown during WWII.

Survivors include two sons, Paul Harris of Nashville, Ga., and Tom Harris of Casadaga, Fla.; a daughter, Margie Miller of Hartford; a stepson, Clifford Houk of Houston; a stepdaughter, Joann Kusky of Austintown; 22 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Paul Harris; her second husband, Gus Houk; a brother; a sister; a stepson, Dr. Raymond Houk; a grandson; and a great-grandson.

Funeral services are noon Monday at the Thompson Funeral Home, where friends may call an hour prior to services.
