CLEVELAND HEIGHTS (AP) - Anyone who thinks the U.S. presidential election isn't worldwide news needs only to look to a restaurant in a Cleveland suburb that's hosting a live BBC broadcast.
The Plain Dealer reports that the British broadcasting behemoth picked Melt - a bar and restaurant in Cleveland Heights that specializes in grilled cheese sandwiches - as one of its American locations for reporting on the election.
The BBC will be broadcasting live there from early evening until about 2 a.m. - or until the election results are final. The restaurant in the battleground state of Ohio was chosen because it's known for drawing a cross-section of the area's population.
Elsewhere, the BBC will join a University of South Florida "tailgate watch party" in Tampa, Fla.
