YOUNGSTOWN - Betty Lou Allen, 88, formerly of Afton Avenue and Crestline Place in Boardman, died Saturday, Nov. 3, 2012, at Omni Manor West.
She was born Nov. 5, 1924, in Youngstown, the daughter of William Neal and Florence Leone Nutt Reynolds.
Betty retired from Boardman Local Schools and was a member of Evangel Baptist Church.

Survivors include a son, Robert N. of Bell Flower, Calif.; two daughters, Christine Mumford of Lorain and Linda Armstrong of Boardman; a brother, William N. Reynolds Jr. of San Antonio; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Besides her husband, Robert George Allen, Betty was preceded in death by a sister.
A memorial service will be held at 6:30 p.m. Friday at Evangel Baptist Church in Boardman, where family and friends may call from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Friday.
