PROGRAM?HELPS?PEOPLE AVOID?FALLS:?The Girard Multi-Generational Center and Area Agency on Aging 11 are offering a progam to help older adults avoid falls. "A Matter of Balance" will be offered at 1 p.m. on Mondays and Thursdays beginning today and concluding on Dec. 3 at the Liberty Township Administration Building, 1315 Churchill-Hubbard Road. Healthy snacks and class materials will be provided.
There is no charge for this program, but class size is limited to 15 participants. To register, call 330-545-6596.
WINDSOR?HOUSE?OFFERS?HEALTH?FAIR:?Windsor House at Liberty Health Care Center is hosting an "Elect to Improve Your Health"?fair from 1 to 3 p.m. Tuesday. The fair will be in the short-term rehabilitation unit and will feature inpatient and outpatient therapy options; assisted living services at Liberty Arms Assisted Living; how to maintain a healthy diet; guidance on preventing falls in your home; diabetic foot care and preventing wounds; and understanding what Medicare and Medicaid cover.
Free blood pressure checks, additional health screenings and tours of the new short term rehabilitation unit will also be available.

ECOT PLANS?FAMILY?FUN?NIGHT:?The Electronic Classroom of Tomorrow (ECOT) is holding a special family fun night at 5 p.m. Wednesday at the Magnuson Grand Hotel.
ECOT is an online school for kids in grades K-12. Activities throughout the evening will include games, prize raffles, arts and crafts, along with educational activities led by teachers and administrators. ECOT officials put on "Family Fun Nights" throughout the state for teachers to interact with students and parents.
Currently, 327 Trumbull County students attend ECOT.
