NILES - David W. "Big Moe" Sparks, 44, of Allison Street, died unexpectedly at 9:15 p.m., Friday, Nov. 2, 2012.
He was born in Warren on March 9, 1968, the son of Judith A. Sparks and Danny Binion Sr. who raised him.
David was employed as a laborer for Roger Sigley Flooring Co., attended school in Olive Hill, Ky., was of the Apostolic faith, enjoyed riding and working on motorcycles, was known as the backyard mechanic and enjoyed country music.
David is survived by his father of Niles; his daughter, Kandace Sparks, stepdaughter, Tara Mason, their mother, Caroline Kiger, and three grandchildren Elayna, Teara and Jaelynne, all of Waynesburg, Pa.; and two brothers, Danny (Janel) Binion Jr., and their children Amanda, Matthew and Megan Binion, Mike Binion and son Michael Tyler Binion, all of Niles. He will also be sadly missed by his aunts, uncles, special cousins and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Judith A. Binion.
The funeral will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Holeton-Yuhasz Funeral Home, where family and friends may call from 1 p.m. until the time of service. The Rev. David Murphy of the Apostolic Bible Church will officiate.
Burial will be in Kerr Cemetery.
