NORTH JACKSON - Joy Esterlee Murray, 74, died Friday, Nov. 2, 2012, at her home following an extended battle with cancer.
She was born July 6, 1938, in Alliance, the daughter of Leonard E. Bye and Evelyn E. Carnesalli.
Joy was a homemaker and a member of First Federated Church of North Jackson.

Survivors include her husband, Thomas E. Murray; daughters, Cindy Clegg of Newton Falls, Melissa Roberts of North Jackson, Shereen Mashorda of Austintown, Shelley Derrow of North Jackson and Chardina Mangino of Poland; 10 grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; and a brother, Gordon Bye of Alliance.
She was preceded in death by her parents; stepmother, Grace Bye; and two sisters.
Friends will be received from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Lane Family Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel, where services will be held at noon Thursday.
