NILES - Sarah A. Zuzolo, 93, of Niles, died at 6:15 a.m. Friday, Nov. 2, 2012, at her residence.
She was born Oct. 29, 1919, in Niles, the daughter of Anthony and Jenny Perna Matash Sr.
Sarah attended Niles City Schools, was a homemaker and a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish in Niles. She was also a church festival volunteer and enjoyed cooking, playing cards and casino trips.

Her husband, John Zuzolo, whom she married Sept. 10, 1960, died April 4, 1999.
She will be deeply missed by several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and -nephews.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Anthony Matash, James Matash and Peter Matash, and three sisters, Mary Koches, Lucy Sherock and Ann Costarella.
Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at the Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles, where the Mount Carmel Bereavement Ministry will conduct prayers at 6:30 p.m.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Niles with the Rev. John-Michael Lavelle officiating, preceded by a 9:30 a.m. prayer at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Niles City Cemetery.
