WARREN - Katherine J. Woods, 93, died Wednesday, Oct. 31, 2012, at Shepherd of the Valley Assisted Living in Niles.
She was born June 11, 1919, in Warren, the daughter of the late Frank and Julia Sotak Nusser.
Katherine retired in 1981, after working 30 years at National Can Corp.

She was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish (St. James Church) in Warren.
Katherine is survived by one daughter; Sandra L. (Charles V.) McMahon of Warren; two grandchildren, Laura (Daniel) Morelli and Kevin (Wendi) McMahon; and nine great-grandchildren.
Her husband, Everett T. Woods, whom she married Nov. 8, 1941, preceded her in death Sept. 7, 2007. Four sisters and one brother also preceded her in death.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish (St. James Catholic Church), where the family will receive friends for one hour prior to the Mass. Burial will be at All Souls Cemetery in Bazetta.
Arrangements were entrusted to Lane Family Funeral Homes, Roberts-Clark Chapel.
