NILES - John Jack Tomlin Jr., 21, 15 Beaver St., passed away Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2012, following a work-related accident in North Jackson.
John Jack was born Nov. 11, 1990, in Warren, the son of John J. and Shannon Lynn Nickels Tomlin.
He was employed by the Aluminum Extrusion Corp. and was a member of First Church of God, North Port, Fla. He attended the Niles City School system with the Class of 2010.

An avid fan of the New England Patriots, he loved music and was a young man full of life and a sense of humor that will be forever remembered. A handyman carpenter, he loved his family, especially his nieces and nephew.
He was preceded in death by maternal grandfathers, Guy Nickels and Randall T. Kern, and his brother-in-law, R. Blaine Fritz III.
Survivors include his wife, the former Mehgan M. Fritz, whom he married Dec. 26, 2011; his mother and father of Niles; a brother, Robby (Britney) Nolen, and sister, Nicole Tomlin, both of Niles; grandmothers, Sue Foster Kern of Howland and Beverly Roth of Niles; mother and fathers-in-law, DeAnna and Scott Calladine, Rodney B. Jr. and Barbara Fritz; grandmother-in-law, Catherine Pavolillo (Terry Lanyon) of Fort Myers, Fla.; brothers-in-law, Ryan Fritz and Nicholas Calladine; sister-in-law, Hannah Calladine; nephew, Damien R. Fritz; and nieces, Auroroa L. Nolen and Rylie N. Fritz (Best Brend), both of Niles.
Friends may call 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Niles First United Methodist. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday with the Rev. Nathan Howe officiating. Burial will be in Kerr Cemetery.
The family requests that material tributes take the form of contributions to the John Jack Tomlin Jr. Memorial Fund, care of any Huntington Bank. Arrangements and care has been entrusted to the Robert P. McDermott Memorial Home.
