DEAR EDITOR:
Let's see now, every time there is a minor storm or occurrence, the gas prices have gone up, but now, just prior to the election we have a major storm and are told that due to everyone staying home, and not using gas, the demand is down, so the gas prices are dropping.
Could this be true or could it be that our politicians want us to feel good just prior to going to the polls?
How stupid we must look, to believe this garbage, along with all of their political ads. What we need is a complete overhaul of our government structure. Once our elected officials get inside that beltway in Washington, they lose sight of their constituents and see only their own objectives such as healthcare, retirement and such that are above and beyond any that we enjoy. With all of the lobbyists' money being thrown at them, I guess it's easy to lose sight.
So how do we change? We start by demanding change and if the elected won't hear us and change, then it's time we change them. After all, we can't
