VIENNA --- The Western Reserve Port Authority this morning offered its embattled executive director a six-month contract worth $47,500 with an option to renew for another six months at the same salary.
Executive Director Rose Ann DeLeons current three-year contract, which expires Dec. 7, will automatically renew if the board takes no action by Nov. 7. DeLeon currently makes $155,000 per year.
DeLeon has come under fire from political leaders unsatisfied with her job performance. The board voted 5-3 to offer the six-month contract.
