The National Weather Service this morning issued a flood warning for Trumbull County through 7:14 p.m. Thursday.
The areas Affected include Bristolville, Brookfield, Cortland, Farmdale, Fowler, Girard, Hartford, Hubbard, Kinsman, Leavittsburg, McDonald, Masury, Mesopotamia, Mineral Ridge, Newton Falls, Niles, North Bloomfield, Southington, Vienna, Warren and West Farmington.
More specifically, the National Weather Service said Eagle Creek water level at Phalanx Station was at 9.8 feet; flooding occurs at 9.5 feet. The service predicted the river would rise to near 10.5 feet by midday today and fall below flood stage by Thursday afternoon.
At 11 feet, Barclay Messerly and McConnell East roads would be flooded and impassable.
