Ora V. Wallace 1932-2012

WARREN - Ora V. "Judy" Wallace, 80, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Monday morning, Oct. 29, 2012, at Trumbull Memorial Hospital.

Ora was born April 4, 1932 in Woodsfield, Ohio, the daughter of the late Clyde and Stella Thompson Brown.

A lifetime area resident, Ora and her late husband, George, owned a number of establishments, most recently the Lantern Bar. In addition, they owned and managed many real estate properties in Warren and Niles.

Throughout her life, Ora loved to cook, bake and play bingo. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, and her beloved dog, Shunuk.

Ora is survived by three daughters, all of Howland, Tana Catron, Deborah (Dan) Wojnarski and Kimberly (Ted) Wallace Kowalczyk; one son, Earl Rodney (Cindy Stier) Maines of Warren; three sisters, Katherine Hanlon of Youngstown, Mary Bartlett of Niles and Alice Sersich of Warren; two brothers, Donald Brown of Graysville and William Brown of Niles; and seven grandchildren, Keith Thomas, Jennifer and Christopher Wojnarski, Justina Maines, Bridger Kowalczyk, Drew Guido and Logan Wallace.

Her husband, George F. Wallace, whom she married Feb. 15, 1964, preceded her in death in 2007. One son, Thomas F. Wallace preceded in 2011. Three brothers, Ronald, Robert and Melvin Brown, are also deceased.

The family will greet friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Lane Family Funeral Homes, Roberts-Clark Chapel, where the service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday. The Rev. Paul Sturm will officiate. Entombment will take place at Pineview Memorial Park mausoleum.
