LIBERTY - Daniel L. Bruno, 83, died Saturday, Oct. 27, 2012.
Dan was born Oct. 4, 1929, in Liberty, the son of Anthony and Julia Schiavone Bruno.
Danny Bruno was an owner-operator of Liberty Market in Girard and worked as a meat cutter at Giant Eagle.

He was a member of St. Vincent De Paul Church in Vienna and was a Korean War Veteran serving in the U.S. Army.
He leaves two sons, Anthony Bruno and Dan Bruno of Liberty; two sisters, Connie Shaulis of McDonald and Donna Tadlock of Pittsburgh, Pa.; and three grandchildren.
His wife, Pauline "Cookie" Vendemia Bruno, preceded him in death, along with a brother and two sisters.
As per his wishes, a private funeral service was held at the cemetery.
Arrangements were handled by McClurkin Funeral Home.
