NILES - Paul L. Wibert, 78, of Niles, formerly of Warren, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, Oct. 27, 2012, at Autumn Hills Nursing Home in Niles.
He was born Jan. 22, 1934, in Middlefield, the son of the late Hallie Wibert and the late Helen Russell Wibert.
Paul was a lifetime area resident and a veteran of the United States Army.

He was previously employed through General Electric and was a member of Warren Baptist Temple.
Paul enjoyed fishing with his friends, generally at Mosquito Lake, and also enjoyed going to places to listen to gospel and bluegrass music. Paul had a sense of humor that could put a smile on anyone's face.
Survivors include two daughters, Paula (Randy) Harrington of Niles and Wendy (Robert) McDonald of Vienna; two sons, Timothy Wibert of Vienna and Thomas (Dawn) Wibert of Cortland; two sisters, Helen Diefenderfer of Austintown and Joanne (Don) Williamson of Florida; and one brother, Larry (Evelyn) Wibert of Southington; six grandsons, Michael Harrington, Mark (Brittany) Harrington, Andrew (Jennifer) Wibert, Adam Wibert, Brandon Wibert and Travis Chalker; three granddaughters, Alyssa Wibert, Abigail Wibert and Brittany McDonald; and two great-grandchildren, Anthony and Aubrianna Wibert.
Paul was preceded in death by his parents, a brother and a sister.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday and from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Lane Family Funeral Homes, Roberts-Clark Funeral Chapel, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday with Pastor James Dittmar of the Warren Baptist Temple officiating.
Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to MVI Hospice, 4891 Belmont Ave., Youngstown, OH 44505.
