WARREN - Vladimir Bobosh, 91, passed away Friday, Oct. 26, 2012, at Shepherd of the Valley-Howland.
Vladimir was born Sept. 25, 1921, in Campbell, the son of John and Mary Fario Bobosh.
He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II in the Pacific Theatre.

Vladimir retired in September 1976 from the Packard Electric Division of General Motors after working there for 35 years as a foreman in metal parts.
He was a member of St. John's Orthodox Church and was a member of the Slovak Club, was past treasurer of the Slovak Club Retirees and former treasurer of St. John's Orthodox Church.
Vladimir enjoyed gardening, golfing, bowling and lawnmower repairing.
He leaves his loving family, his wife Helen Ontko Bobosh, whom he married May 21, 1949; two sons, Gregory (Donna) Bobosh of Cortland and the Rev. Theodore Bobosh of Dayton; a daughter, Carol Bobosh of Warren; a brother, Joseph (Sophia) Laychak; a sister, Olga (Jerry) Hall; and four grandchildren, John, Seth, Daniel and Julianna.
Vladimir was preceded in death by two brothers, George and Nick Bobosh, and three sisters, Mary Phillips, Nadine Brazelton and Mary Basalyga.
Calling hours will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at St. John's Orthodox Church, with a Panachida Service at 7 p.m. The funeral service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church, with calling hours one hour prior at the church.
Burial will be at Pineview Cemetery.
