Haunted school house in Warren

GROUP HOSTS HAUNTED SCHOOL HOUSE: The Students of the Monroe Center in conjunction with the Fine Arts Council Ghost Walk will hold a Haunted School House from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Saturday at 261 Monroe St., Warren. The event will include pumpkin crafts, face painting and refreshments.

ASSOCIATION TO HEAR FROM COMMITTEE: The Southeast Side Community Association will meet at 6 p.m. Thursday at the St. James White Hall, Milton Street and Willard Avenue in Warren. Representatives from the committee will discuss activities for children.

DANCE PLANNED AT TOWN HALL: The North Bloomfield Historical Society will hold a square dance and line dancing from 7 to 10 p.m. Friday at the town hall, state Routes 87 and 45. Cost is $5 for kids 10 and older and $4 for kids younger than 10. For more information, call 440-685-4582.

STUDENTS TO ATTEND MEETING: Junior government students at John F. Kennedy Catholic School in Warren will observe today's Trumbull County Commissioners meeting at 9 a.m. hosted at the school. Kennedy Upper Campus students in grades seven to 12 will also go to the online polls this Friday as part of the National Student Mock Election project.

JUNIOR LEAGUE PLANS SHOW: The Junior League of Youngstown is holding its bi-annual fall fashion show, "Make It Work!," from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Holiday Inn, 7140 South Ave., Boardman. All proceeds will support the Junior League of Youngstown community projects and the new issue-based community impact model. For tickets, call 330-743-3200.

CLOTHING COLLECTION HELD: The Champion Pride Council will be opening its annual Community Clothing Center from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday at Champion Central Elementary School gym. New and nearly new winter clothing for children and teenagers will be available at no cost. Members of the Champion Pride Council will be available to help find sizes and collect selections.
