DEAR EDITOR:
When I heard Tim Ryan make the statement people in Ohio depend on Medicaid my blood started to boil. Many, many years ago I was born and raised in Niles and was brought up with something called "work ethic."
I'm tired of being told I have to "spread the wealth" and let the government take the money I earned and give it to people too lazy to earn it. Every store I patronize has a sign in the window "hiring"
I'm tired of being told I have to help and support drug addicts because they have a disease. Did someone grab them and stick a needle in their arm?
I'm tired of people who didn't take responsibility for their lives and actions, then they blame the government.
I'm also tired of seeing young men and women with tattoos and face studs making themselves unemployable then they claim money from the government.
I say "hooray" for Romney and Paul Ryan for wanting to cut Medicaid by $800 billion. It's about time.
