COLUMBUS - Cardinal Mooney's doubles team of Jamie DiDomenico and Dominique Cicchi lost in the first round of the Division II state tennis tournament at the Ohio State University outdoor tennis courts.
DiDomenico and Cicchi, both juniors, were seeded third after qualifying out of last week's Canton District.
The Mooney pair lost to Lexington's Alex Griebling and Nicole Dragos, 6-4, 6-0.
Meanwhile, Canfield senior Allison Pavlansky lost to Dublin Jerome's Lauren Bellinger in the Division I singles tournament, 6-0, 6-4.
Pavlansky was seeded fifth coming out of last week's Oberlin District.
