PUMPKIN PAINTING PARTY SET: The Newton Falls Optimist Club will host the 12th annual pumpkin painting party from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday at the Newton Falls Community Center, Quarry Street. WORKSHOP PLANNED AT CENTER: The Youngstown Historical Center Archives / Library will hold a fall workshop from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Saturday at the Youngstown Historical Center, 151 W. Wood St. The theme is "Capturing Your Family's Oral History," presented by Dr. Donna DeBalsio.

RELAY FOR LIFE TO HOLD FEST: The Liberty Relay For Life will hold an Autumn Fest from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at W.S. Guy Middle School Commons. Activities will include a fire truck demonstration, Halloween costume parade at 11:30 a.m., trick-or-treat at 12:15 to 1:30 p.m., and other activities. There will also be crafts.
AGENCY HOLDS TRUNK SALE: Stop One Place Help is Available (SOPHIA) will hold a trunk sale from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the First Presbyterian Church, 256 Mahoning Ave. N.W., Warren. Proceeds will benefit the needy of Trumbull County. Vendor space is $15 or two spaces for $25.
