Attend domestic violence lecture

TASK FORCE RESPONDS TO DOMESTIC VIOLENCE: The Trumbull County's Domestic Violence Task Force will hold a domestic violence roundtable ''Domestic Violence: Through Intervention with the Batterer." from 12:30 to 4 p.m. Friday at the TMHA, 4076 Youngstown Road S.E., Warren. Topics will include anger management, the role of mental health, how intervention works, voice of the batterer and why someone stays in the situation. There will be an open discussion and evaluation. Continuing education credits are available. Cost is $10 per person. For information, call 330-393-3003.

EVENT MARKS OKTOBERFEST: An Oktoberfest will be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday at the Champion Plaza. There will be an indoor /outdoor yard sale, polka music and food. For more information, call 330-847-8179.

CANCER AWARENESS: The Youngstown Firefighters Union Local 312 will sponsor a ''Stuff the Bra Bar Crawl" from 6 p.m. to 1 a.m. Friday in downtown Youngstown. Various bars will be participating. FASHION SHOW FUNDRAISER: Betty's Angels Fashion Show is being planned for 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Dec. 1 with advanced tickets available from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Roby Lee's, including 50/50 tickets and homemade chocolates. Proceeds go to Betty's Angels. For information, call 330-240-2892.

RETREAT PLANNED: Joseph Badger Meadows Camp and Retreat Center will hold a middle school retreat with the theme ''BFF'' on Friday and Saturday. CLEANUP SET: The caretaker at St. Stephen Cemetery, Niles, has requested that all decorations be removed from graves before Oct. 28 to facilitate leaf removal. Fall decorations may be replaced the first week in November.
