Edward Wynne 1918-2012

HUBBARD - Edward "Scotty" Wynne, 94, died Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2012, at ValleyCare Northside Medical Center.

Edward was born June 11, 1918, in Stirling, Scotland, the son of John and Bridget Brown Wynne.

He retired from Commercial Shearing and Stamping and was a parishioner of St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving during World War II.

Survivors include his children, Margaret Brennan of Greensburg, Pa., John Wynne of Little Rock, Ark., William Wynne of Hubbard, James Wynne of Hubbard and Janet Bolino of Warren; his brother, William Wynne of Youngstown; 10 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren, .

He was preceded in death by his wife, Jane F. Lynch Wynne, and his brothers who died as children in Scotland.

Calling hours will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today and 10 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday, followed by prayer at 11:30 a.m., at Stewart-Kyle Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at noon Saturday at St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church in Hubbard.

Burial will be at Hubbard Union Cemetery.
