NEW MIDDLETOWN - Robert James Brink Sr., 78, died Monday, Oct. 8, 2012, at the Cleveland Clinic.
He was born July 12, 1934, in Kittanning, Pa., the son of James and Ruby Berline Brink.
Robert retired from Youngstown Sheet & Tube and was a member of Simon Road Church of God.

Survivors include his wife, Lucille Harriett Clever; his children, the Rev. Dr. Robert J. Brink of Decatur, Ind., Paula S. Oesch of Jessup, Md., Steven D. Brink of Hillsborough, N.C., Cynthia K. Sears of New Middletown, Richard S. Brink of Poland, David Lee Brink of Newark and Jeffrey T. Brink of Streetsboro; 15 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Robert was preceded in death by his brother, Paul K. Kerr, two grandsons and two great-grandsons.
Family and friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Simon Road Church of God, Boardman, where there will be a memorial service at 7 p.m.
