NILES - Anne P. Bence Jones, 73, passed away Saturday morning, Oct. 6, 2012, at her home.
Anne was born March 12, 1939, in Youngstown, the daughter of Paul I. and Katherine Samu Bence.
She was a 1957 graduate of East High School and moved to Niles in 1963. Anne retired as a library specialist from the Howland Branch Library on Nov. 6, 2002.

Anne married Kenneth A. Jones on Feb. 16, 1963, and he passed away Nov. 2, 1994.
She leaves two sons, Bruce S. Jones of Jupiter, Fla., and Douglas W. (Megan) Jones of Niles; one daughter, Stephanie A. Jones of Niles; two granddaughters, Eileen Jones and Alexandria Jones; and one niece, Kathy E. Novak of Youngstown.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Katherine Novak, and a brother, Paul J. Bence.
According to her wishes, there will be no services or calling hours.
Arrangements were entrusted to the Szabo and Sons Funeral Home in Youngstown.
