Youngstown State drops in latest FCS polls

After Youngstown State's 48-7 loss Saturday at No. 1 North Dakota State, the Penguins tumbled in The Sports Network and Coaches FCS Polls.

YSU was previously rated third in both polls.

The Penguins tumbled to eighth in the TSN poll and ninth in the coaches.

YSU (4-1) travels to the Illinois State (5-1) this Saturday. The Redbirds, previously ninth and 11th, fell to 14th and 16th in the respective polls.

NDSU (5-0) is close to being the uniamous No. 1 in both polls, aside from Montana State (6-0) getting three first-place votes in the TSN Poll. Montana State and Old Dominion are the second and third teams.

James Madison (4-1) and Wofford (5-0) are the fourth in fifth teams. James Madison is fourth in the TSN Poll, while Wofford is fourth in the coaches.

Eastern Washington (4-1), Georgia Southern (4-1), YSU, Sam Houston State (3-2) and Lehigh (6-0) round out the top 10.

The only difference in sixth through 10 are YSU and Sam Houston State flip flopping in both polls.
