DEAR EDITOR:
I would like to acknowledge Pat Fuller, director of the Friends of the Greenhouse Consortium. She has done an outstanding job with the greenhouse at Packard Park. Her labor of love can be seen right outside the greenhouse, with a new perennial flower garden and the beautiful hanging baskets throughout our downtown.
The park was once viewed for its manicured and architectural gardens, especially the water lily pond. I am sure that many of us can remember having a picnic, family reunion or even your wedding pictures taken in the park.
Mrs. Fuller's knowledge and enthusiasm has inspired many gardeners like myself. She is always on the search for a new method or vegetation.
Mrs. Fuller's efforts are truly appreciated.
